Insights for Leadership concentrates on leadership and management issues related to directing churches, missions and Christian organizations.
Insights for Life provides devotional articles related to following Jesus Christ and implementing his teachings.
Insights for Preaching is a collection of sermons that are topically arranged in the format in which they were originally prepared. There are also articles about the art and craft of preaching God’s Word.
Cal and Ruth Ratz have been involved in ministry for more than 45 years. In 1964 they became missionaries in Hong Kong where Cal served as the coordinator of a large education program as well as the field chairman for his mission. Cal then became the managing editor of Evangel Publishing House in Kenya, the largest book publisher in Africa at the time.
For the last 30 years he has served as pastor in Canada and the United States. During this time he served in many administrative and leadership positions. For five years, he served as the East Africa Director of OneHope (formerly Book of Hope).
Cal has written several books (Word, Multnomah, and Baker) and hundreds of magazine articles. He has been a regular speaker at pastors conferences such as the Billy Graham Schools of Evangelism.
Cal’s life mission is “To go to heaven and take as many people with me as I can!”
